BF3 performance; just need some advice/help...slightly worried about my GPU?

Hey all.

So i've been playing BF3 on ultra settings, no lag or choppy gameplay which i'm loving, but I have been monitoring my graphics card performance with MSI Afterburner and i'm worried because my GPU temperature is between 76-82 degrees celsius, my GPU usage is at 95-100%, and my fans speed stays between 82-85%. This seems like a lot to me, however I am no expert, quite the opposite... that's why I have come to you experts for advice

My questions are:

Is my GPU at risk of overheating or being damaged or is this good performance, if it's not good can you recommend any improvements to my system? (Nothing is overclocked, i'm too scared to do that )

I bought the HP Pavilion PC as you can see below in the link, and upgraded the PSU and graphics card (Incase you cba to click the link i've typed my specs anyway )

link: http://www.dabs.com/products/hp-pavi...w7hp-7HKM.html

PSU: OCZ 600W StealthXStream 2
GPU - XFX AMD/ATI 6870 - 1GB
CPU - AMD Phenom II x6 1035T @ 2.6GHZ
RAM - 6GB DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 PC3-12800 (No idea what that means or how to see the MHz, I think I read 666 somewhere but this is the result from Crucial.com)

If you require anymore info let me know, any help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to OCN!

75-85c is not exactly *cool* but you shouldn't worry about damage until your temps hit 98-100c.

Yep, those temps are fine, most likely due to a slight lack of air flow in the case, but nothing to worry about.
