Yea pretty much but I think he as asking about the network configuration part of it.
On both computers
-Open your network and sharing
-Click Change advanced sharing options on the left pane
-Then click Choose Homegroup and sharing options under Change your network settings section
-Turn on Network Discovery
-Turn on File and printer sharing
-On the destination computer create a folder on the C: drive (in the root of C: to make it easy)
-Right click the folder and choose properties
-click the sharing tab
-Click the share button
in the add box and click add and allow read and write rights.
-Click share and then your done with that.
Back to the source PC
-Now click Computer
-Click the network icon on the left pane
-Locate the destination PC and double click it
-In there you should see the shared folder, now just copy and paste
