Installed wireless card, now computer doesn't work

Thread Starter
I built a computer monday, and today I decided to install a wireless card. I turned it off, unplugged power and stuff, and installed it into a free PCI slot. The computer will no longer power up under any circumstance. I tried with the wireless card out and still will not power up. This was my first computer build and has been working great playing BF3 all week. I am open to any and all suggestions

Thanks

No, because even with the card removed it will not power on.

Have a look at that slot and make sure there isnt anything... out of place; scorch marks, all the sockets are aligned and uniform that sorta thing.

If it was a interupt issue, you should be able to boot at least.

Slot looks fine

Just put the battery back in and nothing

Edit: I think I am going to unplug and remove everything from the case and see if it will run with only required and such

Check all the cables from the powersupply and make sure they are seated correctly.

And also make sure there is nothing shorting against the case.

When troubleshooting power issues, work from outlet on back. Does the outlet work? If yes, is the PSU plugged in? If yes, is the power supply switch turned to the on position? Etc...
