The original deadline was met after Wozniak did not sleep for four days straight. In the end 50 chips were removed from Jobs' original design. This equated to a US$5,000 bonus, which Jobs kept secret from Wozniak, instead only paying him $375.
Sounds like this side man, named Steve Jobs, just took credit for his "friend's" hard work and then, just like Apple's customers today, was cheated him for the actual worth of his design. Steve Jobs hasn't changed. I'm glad we aren't using crummy Macs these days as the number 1 operating system.
Give credit where credit is due. And frankly, it seems like Steve Jobs was on the low end stick of that. I can't believe I even gave him any credit for his influence in the PC world. Wozniak had a MUCH bigger influence on it then Steve ever did.
