What's the design/color of your sphex?
Well that's the thing. It works fine with my g500, but doesn't work with the sensei.

It's the SG design blue with white

It tracks on the blue

I'm really debating the Mionix Propus, or something like a Puretrak Talent or Artisan Shiden Mid.

I have a G9 and a Naos 5000, and I'm likely going to pick up a Corsair M90 and a Sensei. I have a mouse fetish. Can you tell me what pad you used to have, and how you like the Propus compared to it? That's really the best way to get an idea I find =)

I wouldn't use neither the talent or the artisan pads on that mouse since cloth is not a good friend of the laser sensors. You may experience jittering and you will experience some negative acceleration.

So they managed to make the Sensei's avago-9500 useless on white surfaces, bummer for all those who use ye olde white sheet as a mousepad.

Well... It seems the Sensei has been released too early with a faulty firmware (lets hope it's the firmware).
Thumbs down for this marketing company that would rather sell lots before Xmas than to release a working product.
