BF3 Freezing

Thread Starter
So, I got BF3 last night finally, installed it, and it seems to play fine for 1-10 minutes, then the game freezes. I can alt-tab out and close it, so it's just the game freezing, and not the whole computer freezing. I've tried disabling my overclocks, and it still freezes-also tried disabling sli. I've installed all the updates, and searched online to see any similar issues, but none of the fixes seem to fix this issue. Perhaps somebody can help me out...

Dont know if this may help but it helped me alot. Reduced crashing/freezing and load times.

Turn Windows Aero theme off or make it basic (prompts me when in game as its using up all resources) and select the BF3.exe in the Nvidia control panel >Manage 3D options and enable 'Threaded Optimisation.'

I have Aero turned off already, but I'll try that threaded optimization and see how that goes

Only thing i can say after all this hasn't worked is setting all your graphics preferences lower than they are. (AA may cause lag if you have it enabled.) If this doesnt work, i dont know what to tell ya.

Upgrade your bios (video card bios). Worked for my GTX 570. No crashes since.
