Thinking about building my first PC

Well, one of my buddies suggested i post a thread on here to get advice on these components that im thinking about buying. what i will be doing on it will pretty much be gaming(SC II, WoW, diablo 3, stuff like that) i wont be doing any video editing/encoding. if anyone has any other suggestions to what i have listed, please let me know your thoughts! really, im looking to spend a maximum of 1500 dollars but the list i made up comes out to be 1800 but like i said, nothings set in stone. thanks for any help! and one more thing, i found all of these parts on newegg. if theres another site that would have something cheaper, let me know. thanks.

Drop the CPU to an i5 2500k since youll only be gaming thatll shave $100 of the system price

You dont need that stong of a PSU either, get a quality 750w unit from corsair or seasonic

Don't forget your OS, and go with the 580, you'll kick yourself not getting it.

That PSU would be slightly overkill, though, it is a quality one. The CM silent pro is a good line.

Heres a faster drive Seagate 1TB for $75 at amazon, hard drive prices are high due to shortages currently the drive in your post usually retails around $40

CPU: Get the 2500k
PSU: Unless you plan on adding more than 1 video cards in the future, you don't need 1000w of power. a 650-750w would do you just as good such as
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139020

HDD: Change it out for a 1TB Spinpoint

GPU: Either one will max the games you listed. If you want the best single GPU, go with 580

Unless your connecting to a domain, home premium is your best option the extra features of ultimate are almost never used.

Also make sure to look at the combo deals on Newegg you may find that'll make your build cheaper
