[Yahoo] Biggest jump ever in CO2 emissions - Page 21

Lets see...what else has the government continually interfered with...? Hmmm...our currency! Oh wait, is it the conservative republicans' fault that inflation has skyrocketed due to the devaluation of our currency and printing fake phony fraud money? You ever think that has a hand in this too? But no, the government is all knowing and the right-wing is just standing in the way. It must also be their fault too, that our currency has plummeted and housing has collapsed, along with pretty much all food/agriculture prices.

If we could just switch to state-owned farms, then the government could ration it out to those who need it most! What a wonderful world.

You see, its not capitalism that got us where we are. It is the constant government interference in our lives. If only you had a taste of true liberty, you would see the error in your ways. I hope one day you can see it for yourself.

Because my friend, if you decide to one day show up at my door expecting to "take back whats yours" from my dirt-stained hard working hands. It will be a bad day for you, and the lot of you. Before you come back at me with the usual talking points of "capitalism....bush....obama is great...capitalism...new deal...etc etc" think hard of your answer, and offer solid proof, that is, if you can.
I bet you're that guy who flies the confederate battle flag off the back of your pristine F-450 every Independence Day, driving through my town with an AR-15 on the rear-window gun rack. I mean seriously, why does everyone insist on posting these news topics? For the lulz? They always seem to devolve into this pissing contest and talk of dirty commies. Why??????

NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism

http://news.yahoo.com/nasa-data-blow...192334971.html

Quote:
The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.
Quote:
Scientists on all sides of the global warming debate are in general agreement about how much heat is being directly trapped by human emissions of carbon dioxide (the answer is "not much").

Regardless of whether or not this news is true, it's still a good idea to stop cutting down all the trees. It's a good idea to stop over-hunting the fish, and it's a darn good idea to think of better ways to manage our water usage.

So for anyone staying all of this is BS, it doesn't really matter. If the world's rate consumption continues to increase we will, one way or another, screw our species over.

Trying to find ways to lessen our consumption using renewable resources is a good idea! /Thread

Anyone can write anything, but this isn't an opinion piece. Treating it like it is just shows that you lack an unbias objective.

You're always welcome to not click on the thread, not read the thread and not respond to the thread. There's nothing wrong with a little disagreement during the exchange of ideas. He did get a bit too political but it's not like people are flaming eachother ( that i can see anyways ). Besides, the article i posted is a publication of a FACT. How you interpret that fact is up to you.

You're kidding right? Did you actually read it? It's not from NASA, it's an Op-Ed by The Heartland Institute. The same people who funded studies to try and show second hand smoke wasn't harmful. It's a special interest PR firm masquerading as a think tank.

This is NASA's site.

http://climate.nasa.gov see something wrong w/ the picture?

Any time you see an article talking about climate change and the word "Alarmist" appears, you can be sure that it's a spin piece. Legitimate scientific articles do not use ad hominems.
