In a pickle

Thread Starter
I want to upgrade my OCZ vertex max IOPS and get myself a 128g M4. But at the same time i dont want to just throw away the $xxx i spent on the OCZ. Both in my system would be ideal but
A. I don't want to have to deal with managing two drives all the time (Installing this on one and then something else on the other and such)
B. I don't want to put them in raid because I'll loose TRIM

Suggestions??

Only 8? Are you utilizing all 8 already? unless you're filled with 2tb/3tb hdd's then there's no real need to be 'stuck'

I'm using a 128gb M4 as my boot drive and a 120gb max iops as my Steam drive. Works just fine.

I also have 3 HHD attached for media and backups only.

Oh a steam drive would be awesome, cant believe i didnt think of that.

Well i have 1 with my vertex, 5 2tb drives, hot swap bay (i use it regularly) and dvd drive.

I might have to start grabbing 3tb drives. Anyone know of some good ones in that department? I heard the WD greens were terrible because they were 3 platter drives and they had really high failure rates
