gtx 560 ti dying? - Page 2

my 560ti overclock fine

well everything is working fine so far, i think i had corrupted drivers... but after 3-4 installs it finally worked. well i remember taking the side panels off which is why i'm asking if its overheating. I will do a full system blow dust tomorrow, and make the top exhaust.. since my room is already so hot mind as well have it blowing out more hot air instead of sucking in hot air. *sigh* my basement will be done in 2 weeks and its like a freezer down there can't wait.

I over clocked my GPU to 950 MHz with 1.075V using msi afterburner.
idle at 25 degree with fan speed 40%.
make sure both of ur fan works?
i am not using the newest driver, im still using 285.38. because it doesnt run stable with Battlefield 3.

I can't get above 850 without crashes. Temps are pretty cool, around 70c full load. I could maybe play with the voltage but I don't want to.

But I don't wanna hijack the thread, so I'll quit complaining about my lame duck card.

Hmm... 200mm fans do not move alot air fast which could cause your case temp to rise making your gpu run hot. My cooling suggestions are leave the front 200mm as intake and another 120 or 140mm in the bottom of the case for intake, also add two 120 or 140mm on the side for cooling your gpu. Leave the top 200mm as exhaust along with the rear facing 120mm.

My nzxt h2 is a silent case which means airflow sucks ass! It took alot of hard work to get the case airflow just right because my cpu with all stock cooling configuration idled at 38c and the gpu at 40c. Now with fans in plae and air flow corrected my cpu idles at 27c and the gpu at 31c.
