Hydro H50 in a Raidmax Scorpio 668 case

Hey there, I have a really old Raidmax Scorpio 668 gaming case, and I recently ordered a Hydro H50. I knew right away that I couldn't put the cooler in the back because it is made for two 80mm fans. I had the idea of putting the cooler in the 5.25 drive bays so it will give it cool air from the front of the case. I had to order a kit from mountainmods.com for the 120mm 5.25 drive bay, so I can attach the fan to that, and then the cooler to the fan. I measured the width and height of the kit and it is exactly the same size of the cooler. I am still awaiting the H50, as well as rail clips to mount the kit and my cd-rom. It looks like it will be a tight fit, but I am going to stay on the positive side on this one! I was wondering if anyone had any opinions or has heard of a set up like this before? Thanks

Wow, I guess no one in this forum has any thoughts on modding an H50 in the 5.25 drive bays. Thanks anyways.

I put my h60 rad in the 5.25 bays. I used twist ties though lol:

I'd like to see how yours works out, I wouldn't mind cleaning mine up.

Haha, twist ties isn't that bad of an idea, sometimes you gotta use what you can to mod it the way you want it. I want to put my rad as far up to the front of the case as I can. I Posted a pic with it just sitting in the drive bay to show you what its gonna look like. I haven't got the cooler yet, but I am hoping it will work this way.
