It's definitely not the cards.

Try each card in different PCIe slot to rule out if the first one is going bad.

Check monitor cable and try different cable/output and input from card to monitor.

Check monitor setting and refresh rate.

I got no previous history on these cards. These were all used. I am just hoping these werent hella abused.. When its normal running temperature it works great. I do not know if bad contact on solder points run through better if its colder or hotter.

If a solder joint is bad, it will always bad either cold or hot.

Check the above in my post.

This could only related to PSU. Can you try with a different PSU?

Did you uninstall Catalyt then reinstall after put 3 cards in? If you didn't do this, put 3 of them in with crossfire bridge properly seated. Restart PC, uninstall previous Catalyst then clean it with this:

ATIMAN Uninstaller v.6.1.3 Link (Run with administrator privilege. Some antivirus software will give a false positive. Let it restarts to complete the uninstallation - Disable UAC to install tis cleaner).

Then install latest WHQL Catalyst 11.10 http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloa...n_win7-64.aspx

You only have to do this 1 time because you are replacing your previous with 3 x6970s.

Yes windows is up to date. I just tried uninstalling and just having the driver installed and ati tray tools. I still got it. This is so frustrating.
