Good to know. Any other suggestions you guys have besides new tubing? anything i need to keep in mind. I feel like going with an H100 at the moment would have been easier and then later upgrading to a full system. But whats done is done. Gotta do it right now.

its good you went RS240 because you can upgrade later or could add another rad for your gpu's when the time comes. Or you can change the rad, water block, tubes and anything basically

And yes kill coil is a must at least too keep the bad stuff out.. and yes around every six months just to make sure everything is okay.

Do you need a kit? lol I can sell you the RS240 haha. what ya say? jk.
Every 6 months to a year or longer. Just depends on how long it takes for the water to get gross. A kill coil helps 1,000 times, you NEED a kill coil in there (and just plain old distilled water). I've had my loop up for 3 months, and my water is still nice and clear thanks to that kill coil.

No, I don't need a kit. Keep it and learn on it....if you've never done it before just take your time. Do NOT fill it and leak test it with components inside your case. Obviously make sure you cut the tubing to fit properly and look nice (hardware can be mounted for that).

It just takes time, patience, and proper planning to make sure you get it right the first time.

Might warn you.. Water cooling is addictive, I started with a rasa kit myself, Now have a full blown custom loop with fittings that cost more then the rasa kit alone..

I started with a molested H50 (that I'm still on right now). I'm saving up right now for $600+ in full loop parts for next year. Yes its VERY addictive!

Jab tech, Frozen CPU, Sidewinder, all are good places. I really liked Sidewinder's customer service personally. I haven't dealt with the other 2 yet.

And don't forget to flush everything really well before installing it too.
My brother used the included tubing and it looks nasty now. It looked like the water was dirty but it was just the hoses. The water is crystal clear.

Dang Gumbie,

haha, dangerous. Yea its very addicting. I dont see myself ever cooling my videocard. I put it up for sale and got low balled at $100 shipped. For that price I'd much rather keep it.

What about using coolant? is it better to use some sort of coolant rather than just plain distilled water?

No, not any better, and its more expensive. Some people use dye's, but that can also dye your components. Just use distilled water plus a killcoil. That's all you need. If you want color, grab colored tubing.

As far as the tubing goes:
http://www.jab-tech.com/Primochill-Tube-c-319.html

Just grab 6 feet at MOST of any color of that stuff you want. You'll want 7/16" ID, as that's what will fit on your kit (and what came with it).

Killcoil:
http://www.jab-tech.com/Antimicrobia...p-pr-4530.html

You'll need to coil that up yourself (use a pencil or something, I dunno). Otherwise, that's all you'll need....and a couple of cups worth of distilled water.
