EDIT: BOO on the Q2 Timeframe. I thought they were going to have something by 2012.
Nah, if you look at the recommended setup for Skyrim, it's much lower than BF3. It's all DX9.

Ill believe it when I see it. We all know how much AMD boasted that Faildozer was going to change everything. As of now, my spring upgrade is still Intel/Nvidia.

Does this mean that the price of these card will be around the same prices as this gen cards when they first came out? It would be awesome if they are.

Either way, everything looks good for AMD, if this is really true. All Nvidia needs is something like this & the flexibility of Eyefinity ( Different monitors *with bezel correction, even better * & 3 monitors on 1 card.) and realise the age to put more than 1.5Gb Vram has finally come.

If it turns out to be true, that's awesome. But you can't really trust AMD hype anymore after bulldolzer...

Not from my perspective.

Regardless, pc games are developed with the lowest common denominator in mind. The more people that can run the game equals more sales. Ok, that makes sense BUT there is nothing stopping them from adding tweakable gfx options to allow those on the higher end to push their systems. Developers have been skimping on this because most pc games today are simply ports and are rarely developed with the pc as the main platform. We are about to hit 3rd gen DX11 cards and you can count the dx11 games almost on one hand. So forgive my unenthusiasm. I love new tech, always have, always will but it doesnt mean #$%& anymore without apps and games making full use of whats available. The ugly truth is next gen consoles will more than likely provide the push weve been looking for.

If they put a redunkulous amount of VRAM on them like 4GB they will sell like hot cakes!!!! I know I would jump to the red side if something like that should come about
