xspc rasa rx 360/240||gtx 480 + i5 750

i might be able to get my hands on a cheap 2nd hand gtx 480 with a full cover waterblock.
i was wondering if the xspc rasa rx 240/360 could handle both cpu and graphics cooling?

i can get the rx250 for $165 and the rx $360 is for 200.

is water cooling a hassle (maintenance etc etc).
should i just run the gtx 480 with the stock cooling and buy a good air cooler for CPU? (d14 or silver arrow).
I am lazy when it comes to regular maintenance.

hmm actually i think watercooling might be not be suitable for me. when i upgrade graphics down the line, i dont think i will be bothered to spend $100 on a waterblock to fit that card...

just wondering whether i could keep my CPU stock cooled for now and when i upgrade graphics i can switch the rx240 to cool my CPU and the graphics can remain stock cooled. only $35 difference between rx 240 and rx 360 kits however...

Yea you can, a rx240 is fine, and yes you could drain the loop and move from the GPUs to the CPU later on. You may need to get more tubing though.

Also they do have universal blocks that are sometimes cheaper than the full cover blocks, like the EK Supreme HF VGA.

As for maintenance, there really isn't that much if you use distilled water and a kill coil or ptnuke, just the occasional top off of distilled water.

somehow i dont like the idea of cooling only the gpu and ignoring the memory/VRMs and other parts (universal gpu waterblock).

will my memory/VRMs blow if i ultra overclock the card and there is no cooling on the VRMs/memory?

You could probably get away with running just the RX360 with a cpu + gpu loop..

Hell, I run CPU + SLI GTX570's off one RX360..

They sell ram sinks to go over the rest of the parts that need cooling. They don't really need active cooling just some heatsinks usually suffice.
