650D Complete WC Estimate?

Thread Starter
I would like a list of every part (and their prices) I would need to cool a 2500k and a GTX 570 inside of a 650D by Corsair. bonus points for a good looking color scheme as a final result. thanks!

Your asking for a hell of a thing here? You want other people to go shopping for you?
We can tell you what you might need and what works and dont work but find all the parts and price it out for you???

"I would like to have a PC that makes me come off as an enthusiast. However, I don't quite have the time and dedication required to become an enthusiast. Although, I do have a lot of money."

You came to the right place. If you do a quick search for "Will my tri 580's run ______" you can probably find some OCNers in the same position as you.

well I posted this before I went to school, and wanted an estimate of what it would cost and what I would need to see if it's worth the money that I would pay for.

also, I don't have alot of money, that's why I'm asking the parts and prices. I'm 16 and work for the money, so I want to know what is essential, and if we can go from there to make it nice, at a decent price, then that's what I want to do.

it would cost you anywhere from 350-700 to do everything. However, it only does three things
-makes comp look awesome
-quieter
-better cooling = better overclocking

If 350+ is worth it go for it
what i copied and pasted below is an estimate for someone wanting to do a bit more than you just minus the extra rads/blocks/fans/etc to get your price however it is simply a rough estimate

2x 360 rad (150-200$)
1-2 pumps depending on stength 60-200 (depending on one or 2)
3x blocks for gtx 580 (300+)
1x block for gpu (roughly 50-80)
1x reservoir (40-60)
tubing (25)
compression fittings or barbs (100+ for compression don;t know for barbs since i don't use/like them)
that is it cant go more generic than that
fans vary in price and how many you want but for a push pull system for 2 rads with 12 gentle typhoons (the best in my opinion) cost another (200)
and fan controllers another (100 for 2 nice ones)

I think you have to just want watercooling to make it "worth" it, it's extremely expensive compared to the performance gains. For example, I could water cool my 570's but with the money spent on watercooling I could have just bought 580s...

The only other factor is it's quieter than a high end air system, but once again whether that's "worth it" to you is a personal choice.

go with a rasa kit for your 2500k to get your feet wet for about 130, you can add slowly, it will be easier on your under-aged wallet (not that my over-aged wallet can afford the stuff either, mind you).

thanks for all of your input, I guess I won't watercool since it doesn't really benefit me, just because heat isn't an issue and I don't hear my fans as-is. it could always look cooler, but I could buy some acrylic paint and go to town for cheaper. thanks guys.
