*NEW* Zowie AM Mouse - Page 7

Shape looks great, sensor looks promising... but the real deakbreaker for me is that terribly weird CPI scaling. If they made it 450/1750/2300 then I definitely want to get my hands on one. I'm not really a big fan of the bright red scroll wheel either...

Whats makes 1150 worse than 1750 as a cpi step? Both values are "weird" and that's about it. Nothing you can't tweak with ingame settings as long as the sensor of the mouse does not have any issues.

I've got my Rat 7 setup as close to my 1.1a as possible, and I still have my 1.1a plugged in instead. I just bought the EC2, and while I absolutely love it, and is much better than the 3.0. Its the ambidextrous design that makes me love it. I instantly claw it straight. Where is I get lazy and palm the others and use it sideways. While my MiCo is in the mail, I'm def going to check this one out as soon as I can get ahold of it.

I mean there isn't anythign more sexy than this design

Now imagine that a Zowie without all the problems. I'm in love! Wish it wasn't red though

Let's just hope the clicks are like Omron. My fingers are still bleeding from intensive Mico use.

Well if they are the Omron D2FC-G-7S like somiao said then they will feel amazing. They feel much better than the mico huano switches and the Omron D2FC-F-7N found in most mice

I am pretty sure they will be Omrons because didnt the EC series use them already? Best switches ever so they shouldnt ever downgrade

I'm not sure I would call it downgrading, but choosing something for a different set of design criteria. The mouse was after all designed for RTS gaming, and I remember then saying that they chose the switches for maximum tactile feedback.

For jung1e who mentioned Omron4life a move to a different brand is probably considered a downgrade.

By the way what makes you belive this would not have been possible with Omron? Sure the co-branded switches Omron would probably not have agreed to, but the mico switches are as far as i can tell just 0.75 grf OF and thats also possble with a nice D2F?

My thoughts exactly. Leaning more towards this Zowie now.
