This is also an issue I am wrestling with. I will end up getting both like I have done with every version except Arena and Daggerfall. The PC versions are always better but the Elder Scrolls for me has always been about exploration and I prefer to do that on a couch in my living room on my large screen tv.

That sounds awesome biggrin.gif

Also, yes, of course it's worth getting on PC. If not for the better controls and graphics but for the huge modding community.

Move computer to living room. Use an xbox controller. Have a 6 pack nearby.

The only reason not to buy it on the PC would be the bugs.. initial bugs. However, the PC version will get patched. I first bought Morrowind on XBOX and returned it the next day. It was so buggy I couldn't play it. Waited a year before trying it on PC and it was a night and day difference.

Even if it is just a console port it will still look 10x better on PC. Give the modding community a little time and it will look 1000x better, plus all the extra goodies they can come up with. Those numbers are probably exaggerated, but only by a little.

As others have said, playing on the TV while sitting in your comfy La-Z-Boy is a breeze.

I would like to request a link describing this "Skyrim console to pc PORT" As most should know the term "PORT" is overly used and seldom understood. True ports are usually late for release to PC, unlike Games that are written simultaneously for both Console and PC. Find the truth and that'll ease your mind smile.gif
