He isn't? I heard he was spotted in Havana!

In all seriousness, OP, grab the game on PC. You won't regret it.

Maybe oddball question, but are mod tools confirmed? This is a pc purchase for me at some point regardless.

Yeah, I did a quick search. It looks more or less confirmed. Just asked because a lot of developers seem to be moving away from them to push for pay DLC. Found rumours of console mod tools. Implementation would be weird and I doubt it. It would be interesting.

PC, why?
1. Over 100000 Mods by the end of this year. (most likely)
2. Better Graphics
3. Better Controls (KB+M or Controller)
actually I saw an article quoting todd saying the mod kit is the actual dev kit.

In my opinion the bug problem would be the only reason for buying on PC.
While everything else that PC is known for with the elder scrolls is put aside the bug patches are also a selling point for me because you are not waiting a million years for the bug fix patches like you would on Xbox or PS3. Whether they are official or not. You can count on a patch for game breaking bugs to be fixed on PC.

I say otherwise and none of the above apply. Of course it's not too hard to understand why simple minded PC gamers would think like this.

I say Xbox 360 because it's designed with the Xbox 360 as the leading development platform and will no doubt be optimised better for it. You also can't trade/return/rent the PC version as it requires Steam to play.

My advice? Buy/rent for Xbox 360, play it, trade/return it and buy the PC version once it has been patched up and has good worthwhile mods for it.

I disagree with you here.

There still exist crippling bugs for Tes4, fallout3, Fallout new vegas - all left unpatched. There is no real solution to fix it for consoles, but the dedicated gaming community that lives on these games fix these issues (ie community unnofficial patches).

Get it for PC, even if you have to play at 720p at medium graphics. No exceptions. The real question is whether to get DLC faster - xbox is 30days sooner than other platforms. But in all reality, the DLC created by the devs is sometimes worst than common mods created by others.

Which take time to make. These people don't exactly get paid for their efforts and it's not like fixes are going to be available straight away. And to be quite honest I have put over 100 hours into Oblivion & Fallout 3 on Xbox 360 and not come across any "crippling" bugs (Vegas was a mess however).

So yeah, rent or buy it on Xbox 360 first, trade or return it later (which you can't do on PC if you don't like the game) and get it on PC in about 6 months to a year when it's been patched up and modded to the eyeballs. That will be when it's truely worth buying for PC.

Buying a game like this on PC at launch is like playing the lottery.

Of course, this is probably the most biased place to ask a question like this, most people are going to say PC regardless, it's a PC forum, lol.
