AMD mITX board that supports Phenom 2 and PCI-E 16x?

Thread Starter
I'm thinking of doing this on the cheap - hence AMD - but their mITX boards aren't very cheap at all and I can hardly find one that fits my aforementioned criteria. Anyone know of a good one that supports Phenom 2?

There are also some really cheap FX models - any reason to believe they will ultimately improve in performance since they're 6 or 8-core?

i think you should ake a look at the MSI 890GXM-G65
i have just bought one for my new build. the reviews rate it as a pretty good board, plus its one of the only M-atx boards ive seen with two pci-e slots (x16 & x8 respectivly)

I'll link you to a couple boards i've found

Thanks but I'm looking for mini ITX. The one option I found was this:

AMD ITX are expensive compared to Intel... While doing a comparison for MITX for htpc needs (mobo, cpu, graphics), it cost relatively the same for a low end AMD ITX build (onboard graphics), low end Llano (APU) and a 1155 Intel Celeron G series w/ a low end graphics card (6450)...

That's the one I have. It's one of the only itx AM3 boards that supports a PCI-E x16 slot AND 240pin DDR3.

I have the M4A88T-I Deluxe board... and its awesome. Built in wifi, support up to AM3 socket for 95W CPUs, PCI Express, u name it. bios is good too. I think they are $125? Newegg has them open box for like 100 all the time as well.

There is one other board.

Link

Has a pretty average track record:

Review 1 (Tweaktown): Link

Review 2 (Bit-Tech): Link

Not necessarily recommending it, just wanted to add to the table as it is almost never talked about.
