first overclock test?

hi everyone can someone tell me what way to test my first overclock to see if its stable what programme to use and were to download it from i used these settings i found on a youtube video and set them to this settings and everything seems to be fine, my temp for cpu is 26c at idle and around 50c on load so i just need to test it for a few hours ive heard prime 95 is the programme to use but can you confirm this and were do i get it from here are my settings i changed

i ran prime95 and my temps hit 70c+ and the pc shut down so my overclock didnt work i think ill pass on overclocking

At 1.450000 Vcore you should not be hiting 70c unless your aftermarket cooler is not doing the job. Maybe put some fresh thermal paste and reset your cooler.


Edit: It has been my experience the mounted install cooler seems to work better than the stupid clip attachment for the AMD boards. So you might want to consider that as well.

I would also put your FSB back to 200 and just use the multiplier and vcore.

I don't think a cooler like that can handle a 125W cpu at an overclock like that. Try something like a Hyper 212+. You shouldn't be going above 60C. I can go to 1.5V and only hit 42C on my cooler. Anything above 60 or 65 i believe is unsafe, and you risk killing your chip.

Also, I agree with gabead, The 1100t has an unlocked multi for a reason, it makes the overclocking a lot easier, just up the multi, don't bother with the FSB.
