Only getting 9.2 GB/sec with 8GB DDR3-1600C9

Every other review I have seen is getting 14GB at least with this kit. Anyone have an idea why i'm getting crap? BTW NB is at 2.6ghz

I'm pretty sure you'll be completely safe at 1.65v.

I'd say you'd be fine going to 1.6v+. I was trying to get 4Ghz on my 945 and had a 1.5v set up to 1.7v, I believe. It didn't seem to improve stability, though, so I gave up and therefore can't comment on any long-term effects of higher voltages. However, my 790XT-UD4P has a minimum RAM voltage of 1.6, so that level can't be too bad for DDR3.

What kit did you get exactly?

Like everyone's said, it should be fine to run them @ 1.6v+

I say the results are spot on in MaxxMem on this platform.
Here's a result I got before on MaxxMem at 1600 CL9 2.7GHz NB:

Note that aero and background apps were disabled, the NB is 100MHz faster and the RAM is running at 1T.

Well then! I wish I could push my NB to 2.7 or hell even 2.65. but 2.6 ghz is the biggest brick wall I have ever seen in the history of brick walls. Berlin-wall's got nothin on this.

hey..mine did 2650 ..neener neener ..o wait..or was that 2750?? hmm :: some NBs just..don't like to be pushed ::shrugZ:
