amd 1090t , OC stuck cant go higher

Hi, right now i am at 4.2ghz stable @ 1.5250 voltage in bios. I am on water cooling 360rad & 240rad. prime core temps are 27c-30c , cpu temp 30-35c , idle core temps are 19c-21c.

my mobo is GA990FXA UD5, so it has voltage drop under load in prime95.

When using prime the volts drop to about 1.502v sometimes 1.500v flat

When i am idle on desktop voltage does not go to 1.5250v as set in bios but rather 1.55v-1.58v it flutuates between that range. ( this is with amd cool&quite OFF ).

with coolNquite ON, on idle at desktop core speeds drop down to 800-1100mhz and voltage to around 1.38v - 1.45v. around that range. cant remember exactly, but within that range. when playing a game or like loading up google chrome for example. core speeds go back up to 4.2ghz @ 1.55v - 1.58v range.

Is it safe enough to use this voltage settings, seeing how it does reduce the voltage when i am away from the PC or on idle not doing much?

I also looking to go higher with the OC, but if i go above 4.2ghz. prime is unstable, freeze/bsod & or one of the cores say hardware failure.
I am guessing i would have to up the voltage some more obviously..

could i up my voltage some more? if cool&quite is OFF, on desktop idle voltages will be maybe 1.58v - 1.6v. but if i turn ON cool&quite it will reduce the voltage and cpu frenquency untill needed.

I personally think your vcore is fine as long as your temps are good, but still would not go any higher on your vcore though. some will think 1.58 is kinda high. What are you temps? Also my understanding is 4.2 is about the best you will get out of that chip. Not saying you can't but for the most part that is the highest. I had the same chip but I could only get it to run 4.2 on four cores but that was because of heat issues.

my cooling is pretty decent.

on prime stresses CPU temp max is like 30-33c and cores are at 27c

What are you using for cooling? Because using volts at 1.5 you should be hitting around 50ish c range on full load with prime.
