and if you check here http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3901#ov on the feature list there is nothing about Core unlocking...

They don't HAVE to list it under features for it to be there smile.gif Also, the BIOS "names" are letters on the GA-890GPA-UD3H board, and both letters and numbers on the GA-990XA-UD3 board smile.gif

I think it is the option called "CPU Unlock" under Advanced Bios Features. I just checked on mine and that's where I found it. It just gives you an enable/disable option. I don't have an unlockable chip to try it, but it looks like you even have the option to enable/disable specific cores right below that too. All of that is with the latest bios (F9) by the way.

Dudes, that BIOS that someone showed which don't have the unlock ability was a BETA version. Maybe that's why they removed some features and it's temporary. smile.gif
