Except for the destruction, if someone showed me this without knowing the context, I would have sworn it was BF2.

Even though I have not bought or played this, if one has BF2 why would anyone want BF3?

"Well, its the latest and greatest, golly jee..." - Oh, ok.

Deja-vous anyone. Actually, because of all the things BF3 does not have, I meant to say a step backwards anyone.

Here to hoping the franchise does not become a COD type rehash.

I know some here won't like this statement, but please wake-up. Dice/EA is not treating their customers any better then Activision and whoever is doing COD right now. They both lie cut PC centric things out and release consolitis.

Nothing against consoles here either.

Yes, it's a business, but give Ceasar and in this case the PC the respect it deserves (like you use to in the old days), or don't release the game at all for PC just like the industry did not release COD 3 for the PC. They did have some integrity once.

Nuff said.

I'm brand new to the BF experience (BF3 is my first game in the series, and yes, I'm ashamed) so I don't have the fond memories most of you have, but man, that trailer looks sweet.

Or the new BF3 is beautiful, plays smooth, features DX11, world destruction, and is now incorporating everyone's favorite parts of their old favorite game? Get on the bandwagon, bro.

http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/b...trailer-6.html

Was looking at this forum earlier. Some guy took a screenshot of the minimap in the trailer and compared it with BF2 Karkand. It seems its pretty much 32 player Karkand on a 64 player BF3 server. They took a little bit out of the left side of the map and kept the rest the same. Kind of their way of spicing up the pace of the game.
