Average Temps for i7 950 Using Rasa RX360 ?

Hey guys !

Just finished installing the RX360 Kit.
Everything works like a charm !
Can't hear the pump at all.

Just want to make sure i get normal temps.
I know the 1366 CPUs run pretty hot

For now my CPU is at 170x21 (3.569ghz)
And hotest core goes up to 59C after 30 min with prime95 on blend mode.
Idle temp is 39C

Please note, i'm using 2x120mm fans that comes with the kit (As Pull), the 3rd one won't fit due to a heatsink on my MB. (Will probably get a 15-20mm fan instead.
And 1 Push 220mm fan that comes with the HAF X case.

Will be great if ppls who have such CPU or similar (temps wise) could give some feedback so i will know everything running as it should.

BTW, at 3.3ghz with the air cooler hottest core reached 78-80C

What are your ambient temps? As a rough guide and adjusted for an ambient of 20ºC I was getting these Prime 95 load temps on an i7 920:

2.6GHz - 37ºC
3.6GHz - 45ºC
3.8GHz - 47ºC
4.0GHz - 54ºC
4.2GHz - 57ºC

That was with a couple of quad rads in the loop and Scythe GT 1450s. However temps can vary quite a bit even between CPUs of the same family so can only be a rough guide.

They were a few degrees higher with LinX.

i assume ht and turbo are on. not sure why you have to use 21 and not the default 23 at that oc. you might not need to raise your vcore if you did.

temp looks good, though.

i get 60C at 4 GHz with the hottest core using linx after ten runs but ht and turbo off.

You can't really tell from a 3.57GHz overclock.

Whats your vCore at?

I would say overclock to at least 3.8GHz to have a better idea if you temps are good or not.

Turbo Off.

Will ask for advice about the x21 multiplier at the club's thread.

Thanks !

VCore is 1.22v at the bios.
CPUZ shows 1.216v

Also, BIOS reads 30-31C cpu temp.
Just though i will mention it
