White socks :

I've seen worse cablemanagement. But I usually do it afterwards too, now you just want to see it running ^^

For a DVD-drive, I recommend externals nowadays. Why? Well, if you are anything like me you'll use it maybe once a month/2 months. And if you have multiple computers (or a netbook) it's cheaper . On top of that: it looks ugly imho

Oh yea, didn't think of it that way. Good call

No he didn't build it, he just likes to inspect what his fur will be clogging up (I really need to get fan filters).

Yes, white socks, I have hardwoods and it's effin cold in SC right now.

I would rather have a internal cause I don't like having an extra thing to plug in and work around. I live in an old house with ungrounded outlets, so I'm risking anything I plug in. Also the circuits are crap, if I plug in two space heaters anywhere in the house the circuit trips.

Hope this helps

Yea, if you use it enough an internal one is easier (and faster I think).

Great build so far, the cable management for that case is not great, not your problem. I had the same problem with mine and i just ended up routing everything behind the mobo tray and forcing the rear panel on.

Just an update, I have actually gotten a DVDrom for this, and overclocked it a little. The stock fan was so loud running Prime95 that I decided to not push it anymore and bought a H50 from a member. Once I get that and the DVDr installed I'll take more pictures and post some ideas for the future.

Ok so, I've now fully assembled this build. It now contains a Asus DVD-RW, a Corsair H50 in a push.pull setup, some new Antec tri-cools that seem to be rather loud and I might end up replacing if I can find some good LED fans that are quieter.

Currently I have it set to 4.0 MHz at 1.7V and running Prime on it now. It seems to be doing alright but only time will tell. I would like to try and push the 4.1 if it will stay stable with a NB increase.
