CPU Fan Help Plz?

Thread Starter
I have my CPU fan running at 100% 24/7 (not 24/7 just when my computers on). It runs at at 3400RPM's. Incase it matters my CPU is the Phenom II X4 955 (listed below) Is this bad for my CPU fan? If so then how bad?

Most fans that I have have a listed life span of 30,000-50,000 hrs. Yours will wear out sooner the longer it runs.

If you're running an overclock on the stock heat sink you should expect it to run at a high rpm (as well as get pretty damn loud) but it should be fine. I do recommend checking your CPU temps at load though, don't want any damage on that baby.

Not at all, i've had fans run full RPM 24/7 for 2years solid and they still are going strong. By the time it gets bored with it's life you'll have upgraded long before then.
