IMO you need to call them right away other than telling them they sent the wrong thing, tell them they misunderstood and that the Chassis is messed up which is the truth as the thread holes are compromised.
Tell them very pleasantly of course that the entire chassis needs replacement.....period!
If that doesn't work or if you prefer what you really need then is to EMail CorsairGeorge as he posts in the Corsair threads (his E Mail address is posted somewhere) as is a Corsair case product manager I believe - he'll assist you to get it all straightened out.
