I would have them ready in case the Corsair Customer Service department needs those to process the warranty replacement.

Please let us know via this thread how you do with this.

Corsair does have GREAT customer service and CorsairGeorge who posts in this forum mostly in the Corsair clubs is tops as well.

Yeah, I'm too lazy to deal with customer support so I found a solution.

Close enough.

I hope that new screw hole on the chassis won't then get stripped eventually for your sake.

It's your case and of course you do what you want - but if it was me I wouldn't stand for it, but that's me.

Wow! Corsair actually acknowledged my request and they're sending me something. Although it's very vague what they are sending me and I hope they understood what I needed! Horray for Corsair!

If it were me I would contact them by phone to make sure and explain to them that the chassis is compromised and that they're ALSO sending you that with a replacement thumb screw.thumb.gif

IMO you need to call them right away other than telling them they sent the wrong thing, tell them they misunderstood and that the Chassis is messed up which is the truth as the thread holes are compromised.

Tell them very pleasantly of course that the entire chassis needs replacement.....period! biggrin.gif

If that doesn't work or if you prefer what you really need then is to EMail CorsairGeorge as he posts in the Corsair threads (his E Mail address is posted somewhere) as is a Corsair case product manager I believe - he'll assist you to get it all straightened out.
