go get Intel Burn Test- http://downloads.guru3d.com/IntelBur...load-2047.html

it will tell you if you have a stable overclock, if you dont you may have to adjust your voltages a little and if you post into windows you should run the program again and again until its stable

err..http://virgilioborges.com.br/hyperpi/hyper_pi_0.99b.zip

not really..eh..somteimes it will detect problems faster..but hyper-pi does too..with a LOT less unnecessary heat

Ive only done intel burn test on high so far. Overclocked at 4.8ghz now with 1.425 volts I hit temps with load fluctuating between 65 and peaking at 79... is this safe?

Let prime 95 run 12+ hours to stress it. If it fails add CPU voltage and try again or back the oc down some....we prefer the first

ha

Well, i hit 4.8 @ 1.425 voltage with stress at maximum on Intel Burn Test and had success. Does 5ghz look possible? I'm getting close too 1.5 volts and i was told not to go over that with 2500k... Prime95 looks like it will take foreeeever for results. Boo
