Boot Screen Issue

Thread Starter
This may be a little hard for me to explain but I'll try.

When i first got this computer in April i tried unlocking the X2 555. Now im not sure if it wont unlock or i just didn't do it right, i have no idea but that isnt the issue.

After getting everything back to normal (i think) I no longer get a boot screen. I get a screen size graphic of my MSI motherboard brand and then it goes straight to the windows loading screen.

The screen i am not getting is the one that shows the system info loading and gives you the option to go the the bios. This just doesn't show up anymore.

Did I do something wrong to cause this when I tried to unlock the CPU?

The BIOS should have an option that says something to the effect of "BIOS Splash screen" or "Display BIOS info" or "Splash on Startup." You probably reset your BIOS and it enabled/disable that option, which is why you get a splash screen on POST now.

I don't know off the top of my head for your Mobo. It should be in the manual. The key is probably one of Del, F1, Esc, or F8, but your manual will have the answer.
