Hi all. First post on the forums, been lurking awhile though.

Lookin at 2600K, dual XFX 6970 and then OC'in as far as I can get it to go stable. Here are the parts Ive picked out to build a water system with. Cost a little more then I was hoping so if anyone has suggestions for equivalent performance at slightly less price, Im all ears

Case: Coolmaster Haf X - http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6653

GPU Block X2: EK 6970 VGA Block - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12...EN_Nickel.html

CPU Block: EK Supreme Unicersal Rev 2 - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/73...AM2AM2AM3.html

Pump: Swiftech MCP655-B - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/21...t_317_GPH.html

Radiator: Black Ice GT Stealth 360 - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/50...r_-_Black.html

Reservoir: FrozenQ Fusion Dual Bay - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14...lue_Helix.html

Coolant: Feser Non-Conductive Ultra Pure Water - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/70...l_FA-0054.html

Tubing: PrimoChill PrimoFlex Pro LRT tubing - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/82...?tl=g30c99s809

... and a few misc pieces I havent priced in yet.

Thoughts? Go easy on me, this will be my first water build Thanks in advance all.

I dislike that case, but thats my personal prefrence!

But overall looks like a good build!
What kind of fittings are you going to use?

Edit, you could get an XSPC Raystorm(CPU Block). I've heard good things and am getting one myself ;D

Looks good Although not enough rad in my opinion. An RX360 would be the best option in that case.

Go for Primochill hose rather than the feser, 7/16 over 1/2" barbs

And maybe go for the vario pump, its much easiler to bleed.

Agree on the use of Primochill. But if hes got the money, he should get compression fittings.

Meh, I like barbs. And I third the Primochill tubing, and second the "I don't like the case", but that's just my opinion.

Sad to hear all the Haf X hate, I love it though! Tons of room and options in the case. Makes cable management a breeze as well.

Looking at the RX360, is there any where that lists the cooling rate for these rads (ie how much TDP they can handle)?

Here you go, enjoy. Just so you know the XSPC/Thermochill radiators have a larger radiator core than the rest, this is important if you are going to put a heavy heat load on them. The XSPC and Themochill have the lowest restriction compared with all the others, flow rates will be higher if you also get higher flow GPU and CPU water blocks! EK defiantly designs high flowing blocks, if you can get the EN versions as they have a higher grade nickle plating!

Not enough rad me thinks...

Go with a GTX or RX. Also your talking about cost but you have a 100 dollar res??!?!??

Considering the line above, i would go compression because obviously you have the money
