Yes, 20 bucks in a country that uses bucks for currency. We already know the Brits get price-gouged like crazy.

Of course, since the OP is a Brit some people should keep their traps shut about price unless they're looking at the foreign websites for price comparisons.

I recently installed two MSI 6950's and they exhaust alot of heat into the case. Its made me have to re-examine my airflow. I have my H50 (p/p) set up as exhaust. I didnt want to have that heat blowing across my FSB or RAM. My old GPU did not produce much heat in the case. I noticed after installing the 6950's the air exiting the H50 rad was very warm. So now with the CFX set-up I need to reverse the fans on my H50 to intake and prevent that interior case heat from warming the rad.

OP: I looked through the link you provided. Nothing good there but the NH-D14. And you should wait and get the NH-D14 SE2011.

Best bang for the buck is the Silver Arrow. Much cheaper than the WC solutions and better than all but the most expensive. And much quieter.

A bargain: the HR-02 Macho.

As for where in the UK to get such, you'll have to find them. I have no special knowledge on that.

hyper 212+ is best for the price...but i'm assuming you're looking for something a lot more substantial. the only things superior to the h50 are the h100,noctua nhd14, and all-out LC.

Could it be that your H50 is defective? Improper mounting? Poor airflow in case? Bad ventilation outside case? High ambient temperature?

So,
a. what is the ambient temp?
b. what is the load temp of your CPU?
c. would you show a pic of your case interior?
(I suspect your H50 is not receiving enough fresh air but is receiving the hot air exhausted from your GTX580 Anarchy as well as the front entering air warmed by that 5 HDDs)

But of course, there may not anything wrong at all and it may be just that you just have a (too) high expectation from a H50. If so, I imagine no air cooler (eg NH-D14 or Silver Arrow) can bring an improvement over a H50 substantial enough to satisfy your standard.

To make a good distinction from a H50, H100 is probably the minimum. If budget allows more, Rasa 750 RS240 is the next choice.

2 Antec Tri cools on medium, pushing air out of the case. My GPU maxes out at 45c so its not that, I think my cooler is just bad, the rad/hose and pump are always hot.

I use to have an i7 920 cooled by an H50 and it was perfectly fine; overclocked to 4GHz and maxed out at 70C with decent ambient temps. I dont know why your stock temps would be that bad. Also, a thing to note is that idle temps don't mean much; where water really shines is on load as it can absorb more heat than air can.

The degree in which an appropriate cooler can be suggested is relative to what kind of temps you are looking for. If you are looking for 50-60C, a high end air cooler or a full blown water cooling loop would make that more possible.

I suggest you reseat the H50 and maybe change fans. For radiators, such as that on any water loop, requires fans with static presure instead of cfm. I dont know what the static pressure of those fans are but for this reason, many people turn to Scythe Gentle Typhoons.

Judging from this pic, I do not see any good air cooling for the H50:-
a. The front 200mm fan fulfills its purpose by cooling the harddisks. But then the air passed through will be warmed up. Due to its lower velocity, the air is likely being sucked up by the Anarchy's intake fans. But this does not seem to affect much the GPU's load temp. It is good to see your GTX580 maxes out at 45C. This means, hot air is not being recycled through its fans. Rather, its hot air is being removed away from it.

b. The Anarchy is exhausting its hot air mainly via the edge along the card's length. This amount of hot air is likely being sucked upward by the case's top exhaust fan and particularly by the H50's fans (due to its proximity and its higher static pressure, relative to the case top fan).

c. The HAF-X seems to be positioned quite near (just a few inches?) to the wall behind. This adversely affects the H50's performance significantly. I suggest providing at least 6'' clearance. Additionally, if you can provide active ventilation to that region, it will be even better.

Suggestion:-
The best setup, IMHO, is to move the H50's rad-fan from the case rear to the case front (ie inside the 5.25'' bays, taking up about three such optical bays' space). As such, fresh cool air will be intaken from the case front and it will be immune to heat dump of the GTX580.
Provide also a 120mm exhaust fan to the case rear for extraction.

And, what are your ambient temp and CPU load temp?

Another observation...

You have no significant airflow over the board components. This is both going to make the board run very hot and force the CPU cooler to remove more heat.

I speak from experience when I say that the X58 IOH and any VRMs powering a 4Ghz i7 are going to produce quite a large amount of heat under load, and without a CPU cooler providing direct air flow over the board's heatsinks, you should invest in active cooling.
