At that price and it doesn't even have a Blu-Ray drive. And as mentioned earlier, it looks big and bulky. Of course the ultrabooks doesn't have drives, but when a laptop at $1300 has a drive and it isn't Blu-Ray then you can start to wonder.

I have this laptop, not with top specs though, and it's covered in light magnesium, so it's very solid. You can get it with an i7 standard voltage, and not those crippled dual core versions. The battery is insane. You can easily get over 10 hours with this thing.
Best of all? It has a 2 year warranty.
However, a deal breaker might be the screen which is 1336x768. But it's a 13.3" so it looks sharp anyway.
