Seems like that has all that I need... plus I have $60 bucks off on Rewards Coupons as well Lol. The WIFI was a early driver issue from what I can tell. THis Model looks like it's a brand new production Model in regards to the price point etc. I cant find it anywhere else for the similar price.
What do you think?
The Vaio SE does have a backlit keyboard (all the higher-end Vaios do). No slot-load but it does have a Blu-Ray option.
The XPS 15z isn't bad. I don't really see it being a better choice than a Vaio SE (unless the styling is more important than lightweight). And then there's the Samsung 7. Last point, the snob in me would say that "Dell" logo will make it "look cheap" if you care about what other people think about it.
EDIT: Wow, I didn't realize how loaded the Samsung 7 was at <$1000. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+...&skuId=3495331
BUT that model doesn't have backlit kb. MOST models do, Best buy is just selling a cheapie version.
It's tricky finding a Samsung 7 with over 1366x768 (they supposedly exist with 1600x900 or 1080p), but they seem to be the total package. 8-cell battery, so I'm guessing good battery life. And it weighs as much as typical 14" laptops (5.0 pounds)Edited by jrbroad77 - 11/6/11 at 4:45pm
