Overclocking with a stock cooler?

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I just wanted to know if I can overclock my AMD Phenom II x4 955 @ 3,2 Ghz up to 3,4 Ghz when I've still got the stock cooler that came with the CPU. My current PSU is a 500W PSU by Power Color, my current GFX card is a GTS 250(I'll be upgrading to a GTX 460/560TI or a HD 6850 in 1 or 2 months) and I've got 4 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1333 Mhz, if that helps.

DO NOT OC with a stock cooler. Unless you like fried chips.

It could probably handle it with adequate cooling but people on this website like to be really really cautious of their hardware.
