i did put a question mark because i was not 100% sure.

but either way 80C for stock. there got to be something wrong there. unless he lives somewhere very hot.

and since they have the thermal system on the new boards i asumed they dropped of turbo when temps or power went out of spec.

EPC...i am so sorry to have to do this, but i must ask you to stop misinforming the OP. you were right about the harddrive allocation, but everything else your saying seems to be coming from nowhere. The OP needs help, and all you're doing is offering uneducated thoughts.

OP should know that .mp4 is a fine format for internet use and is one of only 3 blu-ray formats available. .mp4 is an industry standard and when peoperly implemented can yeild great results.

well well tbh im trying to help him find a solution your pretty rude tbh.

there no way his cpu should be that hot at stock. and his CPU usage is below 50% on his renders,

stick you neck back in and help dont flame....

as of i think after seeing your cpu-z i think the low speed of rendering is due to your ram( Kingston HyperX) its frequency is quite slow as compared to your processor and it is not able to give enough data to be processed into 8 threads due to its low frequency

wrong his ram is fine. plenty to feed that chip.

edit hmm maybe your right 1333, sandys like fast ram they just dont care about CAS all that much.

still it cant be holding it back that much,

Thread Starter

@sanket779292
Ah I see what you're saying. It's a good 1000mhz slower.
How would I go about upping that frequency? I feel like I have already done so in the UEFI (bios) in the past, but that ended up putting more strain on my CPU and increasing the CPU temperature even further for some reason.

@EPC-Valthos
My temp isn't at 80C anymore. That was only when I had it OC'ed.
At stock speeds, it is running at roughly 69-75C; Usually averaging around 72C.
This is all while it is rendering/full load.
Idle temperature is 39-43C.

*edit*
This is my RAM, for reference.

well, for one, i have extensive experience with Sony Vegas, back to its very creation. Secondly, i do NOT flame...I follow my mother's advice when it comes that...i believe i am justified in saying what i said. I just don't think that saying .mp4 isn't a good format will help the OP(for instance), and your theories about how Vegas and task manager work aren't holding much water thusfar. Vegas is very smart at allocating resources, and if you've used any other 64bit NLE, you'd know that Vegas is the least demanding of them all.

Idle temps are a bit warm Own...
