Best card for under $150? - Page 2

i agree with behemoth777 on that. if u absolutely must get nvidia, prolly cuz u want physx, cuda, or better tesselation, than the 460. if u dont care about those things the 6850 is a better card @ $150

Link? So many versions

Dual 5770 will keep you competing with a 560ti.

If you wanted to CF two older cards.

Too expensive, not really a gamer just want to run games decently, if the 460 gtx msi can run crysis 2 at max specs it's already overkill for me.

Oh haha I didn't know, you can get that CF set up for $120. I did it like that but just saying.

Umm what's your initial goal for the card ?

Initial goal is to run games like Max Payne 3, Hitman 5, GTA 5, Saints ROW 3, etc at like 80-90% specs at least, that isn't too hot or loud and is NVIDIA. Kind of future proof, but not crazy future proof like sli's and direct x 11. Just want to run games pretty well for the next couple of years or so.

The gtx msi 460 seems to meet all of these AND more, but if my budget lowerd what else should I be looking at?

My processor and mobo alone are $1000+ :S

1000+ For cpu and mobo.... WHOA.

GTX460 should do the job fine, I've seen a 550ti go for $100 on some big sales lately.

Your best bet for running the games you listed with Decent FPS and settings is the GTX 460 alright.
