CPU running at 800mhz? - Page 2

Dont worry about it. it just declocks itself when its not working hard enough to save power but when you open a video or game it will automatically go back to its Stock clock

okay guys... you said c1e helps save power
but it was switching from different speeds even when c1e was disabled...
i now enabled it and it switches speeds like its suppose to
but it was doing it before i enabled c1e??? should i be concerned?
i want it off though because its slow when doing not intensive tasks that i want to be fast like watching a stream

Its just Cool'N Quiet. You can turn it off in the BIOS under CPU settings, but if you havent overclocked your CPU you could just leave it enabled as it automaticly dovnclocks your CPU when you dont need the extra power, thus keeps the CPU temperature and power consumption low.

c1e was disabled and it was still jumping from frequencies. even when it is disabled it jumps freqs and i dont like it. is there a way to stop it from jumping?

By disabling Cool 'N Quiet.. It's the only way it'd be doing that unless your cooling solution isn't seated properly in which case the CPU is down clocking to protect itself. But I'm pretty sure it's cool n quiet.
