SSD running in sata 1?

For whatever reason my new SSD (OCZ solid 3 120 GB) is running at 150 mbps per second. My standard drives are all still running at 300 according to windows.

I updated sata ahci drivers, and all other updates I could find about my system, but nothing seems to change it.

Use this instead to see the stats

Also, are you on sata 2 or three? If sata 3, which is it plugged into the native AMD port or a Marvell one?

Then we can go from there.

All of his sata ports are native to the nforce chipset on his board yeah? No Marvell controller in sight lol.

I don't need to use any other program, and I did use other programs like HDTUNE, all getting around the same results as windows. Drive isn't running in sata 2, which is what my board supports.

If they are running at 150 megabits per second per second, wouldn't they be running in sata 2 in 2 seconds and sata 3 in 4 seconds?

sata 1 = 150
sata 2 = 300
sata 3 = 600

Is HD tune the only one? I say to run ATTO b/c it shows the real performance of your sand force drive. Other benches can make it look wacky. HD tune on my M4 for example shows only a max read of 350MB/s. I Run AS SSD (not a good bench for your drive) and I get 515 MB/s reads.

Also, what is the program you used in the OP? I will run it to compare.

I've run HDtune, the previous link listed, and the program with the screenshot is in device manager. Go to your sata controller, pick the port with your drive in it, and you can run a read test. Every test is roughly the same, my drive is running in sata 1, however all of my spindle drives are running at sata2, like before.

I am not sure what is going on. :/

And I can't seem to find/run the device manager bench. I selected the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers and there is not ports that show, only Intel Chipset SATA AHCI Controller.

Go to the properties of the controller, in device manager.
