Crysis 2 patches fix SLI issues?

Sorry, this has probably been discussed, couldn't find it w/ search. Just got Crysis 2. Also just got 120hz monitor. Also just got 2nd GTX 580.

When I started playing, got color bands/flickering on screen. They go away when I don't play full-screen, but then it's laggy. Also, I wanna play full-screen. Experimented with refresh rate, card clocks/volts, etc. Determined that it's SLI. Game plays fine w/SLI disabled ("Single-GPU"). But I wanna play w/ SLI enabled.

tl;dr: Will patches fix SLI issues (up to 1.9 now)? Are they "mandatory"? Already have DX11/Ultra patches installed. Problem remains. Is multi-card broken (for some of us) for Crysis 2? BTW all other games (BF3, BC2) work like a dream.

Thanks for any help.

Only one way to find out

Okay I'm lying. Where do you have the game? Steam? Origin? Just update it, get the latest drivers and find out.

Got it on Origin. I've prepared myself, emotionally and psychologically, to download patch(es). Now I'm just wondering if I need to download any/all patches prior to 1.9, or if I can just download 1.9 to my retail (digital download) version...or if all patches were baked into the version I downloaded a week ago from Origin.
