fastforward to 4mins. It's better for you to watch how it works.

The user interface is good unless you have a lot of apps open. Is it the UI that you're talking about? I couldn't see if each individual app was continuing to run even when in another app.

I own android phones and own a iPad, and I can tell you that iOS doesn't multitask at all unless the developer of the app has added that feature.

And yes widgets are constantly running in the background, hence multitasking.

I have no allegiance or fan boy pride in one over the other(own both) I actually like both but they do have their pros and cons.

Android is fragmented with subpar apps.

iOS is restricted but has phenomenal apps. That cost more but you get what you pay for

All iOS apps remain in memory for fast access (unless killed) but I did say the app needs to be coded to take advantage of any services such as music, VoIP, background execution, etc.

Just because widgets run in the background doesn't mean the OS multitasks. The ability to have multiple apps runs at once is multitasking, not widgets which are significantly smaller and simpler than apps.

It seems the HTC Rezound and Sensation will get ICS soon. Only the Tbolt will (probably) not get it.

You are clearly biased in your opinion. Widget may be small but they are always running right? I would count that as multitasking, I just don't like the way ios handles multitasking. Just my opinion

Now if you jailbreak as I have you can get real multitasking out of iOS

The core of iOS is OSX. It has preemptive multitasking, in every sense of the Computer Science definition.

It doesn't allow user space programs to access it willy-nilly, because that's a good way to have a crappy battery life.

In many ways the iphone is the fastest stock phone currently out.

Graphics, javascript, camera.

Don't think I would ever label any Iphone the fastest because that title is always short lived. There is always a new android out next week. Which is why there is so much fragmentation in android
