quick question

Thread Starter
Hi i have a 2x gtx295 setup. Which would be the easiest way to upgrade? Put in another gtx295 or can i keep my 2x gtx 295 and put in a gtx 580 or 590 on my 3 video card mobo? Im quite a newbie when it comes to SLI and physx and stuff. So any help would be great.

Sell them then upgrade. You can not SLI different gfx cards.

you've reached the limit of what those cards can do. they don't support x3 sli either.

You can't run 3 295's in the same system, as that would require 6-way SLI support (which no card has). You also can no SLI different cards. They have to be the exact same model (but can be different brands).

As everyone has said, sell those cards and upgrade to the latest cards. I recommend going with a gtx580 in SLI as a good replacement to your setup. With the poor scaling of the quad SLI system and the performance jump of the gtx580s you should definitely see faster performance from that setup.
