Under $2000 Gaming Build

Thread Starter
If you guys could be kind and please review this build as this will probably be my final calabiration of stuff for my computer. I just want to ensure that I'm not missing anything or if there is something on here that needs to be changed please let me know. Also do you think that power supply will be able to handle crossfire of two 6970's? Please if you have any other recommendations to this build please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it. This is a build for pretty much everything I'm going to need. This build comes out to 1934 and I've got a 2000 dollar budget so please keep that in mind. Also, if you would like to leave a compliment as well that would be cool. Thanks!

Slim, thanks for the input. Are you referring to the Ivey Bridge? When does that chip come out?

No sandy-e comes out sooner than ivy ivy I think comes out in like a year. Also do you have a rig to hold you over for now? If you do I'd also wait for the 7xxx series. It is just rumors but there is talk of huge improvements.

I'm don't have one to hold me over. I got BF3 at my house waiting for me I will be ordering this around the end of the year or very start of next like first week of Jan. at the latest, and I don't want to wait that long.

If you plan CFX, I'd get a full size tower, and not that little Mid Tower
And I'd get an 850W PSU! Although, 750W is probably OK!
And I'd forget "ESET Smart Security @ $59.99 and use Avast Free

I think I can swap it out for sure for a 850W. The Xfire will be down the road though, but better be future proof for just a few extra dollars instead of a whole new PSU.
