Nvidia is not designed for BF3? - Page 6

Oh OCN. So easily baited

Yes 35% is much worse bit i would not even hesitate to drop it even if i had a Nvidia card considering 22% is a huge % and the effect you get you can easily achieve with FXAA at no fps lost.
I don't have BF3 yet, but would you mind posting some screenshots of it with FXAA vs MSAA? I'd like to see how discernible the difference is.

The problem is that Nvidia Users must bring MSAA in every benchmark which not only kills all single card performance for both sides (Nvidia just take a smaller hit) but its also very badly implemented. In short with 0AA FXAA High ATI HD 6970 walks with GTX580 and not GTX570 (Rival). Also OCN in general has the disease that unless something is Maxed out it does not count. Go read some people complaining about memory leak of GTX570 with MSAA ON. They all have to disabled it so they can play the game and with it disabled AMD card do better.
6970 fastest single gpu from ati
580 fastest single gpu from nvidia

They are the competition.

570 vs 6950 is right even though the 560ti beats it.

I don't even want to fight with gpu's because its always the matter of who's penis is better than the rest.

I run 'OMG ULTRAZZ 2650p HAXX OMG 1337ness 1000FPS OMG settings UMAD?'

I would rather run at 'high' and get a stable 60FPS then 'ultra' and only get 40 FPS stable.

You guys here always have to have best of the best hence this thread. WGAF if you can play on ultra at 2560 @ 60FPS? good for you if you can.

All tests are never done equally. ever. drivers from the competitors cards might be old so the tester looks better and so forth.

anyway to much rambling im out this is poop.

I have to agree with every saying the OP is on the verge of trolling now. Especially considering that this post is in the Nvidia section...

Why NVIDIA graphic card burns much more power? I chose AMD card mainly because with same performance NVIDIA burned much more energy. This is a weak tech proof.

And the 590 doesn't scale nearly as well as the 6990. It's more fair to compare single GPU cards if you're going to compare AMD to Nvidia directly.
well my title makes sense too. Someone has to design the Nvidia, and they never design it right for BF3

ehhh amd has been better at higher resolutions for the most part in many games.

Is BF3 really that bad with Nvidia? Because with AMD/ATI you are not really safe either, there are various bugs and glitches and it's a real hit and miss when you go Crossfire, hell I have been having problems getting close to max setting with my setup.

I have even heard people contemplating going Nvidia with their next card.

Being blatant for a second, the Radeon performance both sucked and impressed. Both AMD and Nvidia supplied us with their own version of a "reviewers guide" for Battlefield 3 along with their latest drivers.

Nvidia didn’t bother to compare their products to AMD’s when putting together their reviewers guide. AMD, on the other hand, included extensive testing putting products from both companies head to head. That testing cast the Radeon series in a good light, however we found it odd that in virtually every test AMD used the Ultra settings but with MSAA completely disabled.

When we started testing on our own it became apparent why AMD did this. With MSAA enabled the performance sharply declines with Radeon boards and previous generation Nvidia products make AMD’s current generation hardware look foolish.
However disabling MSAA allows AMD to catch up to Nvidia, as you saw in our High quality 1680x1050, 1920x1200 and 2560x1600 tests.
