It is really lame that we have to do this to Razer mice. I get the same scraping on my Abyssus with no tape mod. I had to buy an extra set of feet and stick them on over the top.

Come to think of it, this would be a good way to slightly reduce the effective LOD of the mouse. Get some really thick layers of feet or other **** with the feet on top in order to widen the gap between the bottom of the mouse and the pad, thus effectively lowering the LOD.

Yeah, possible it's the pad. I use an all black QCK+.
