Possible bsod fix?

Thread Starter
ive been getting bsods for a while.... Memory_management etc... Ran memtest and chkdsk.. Nothing wrong with the memory or harddrive. My mobo is a dual channel board. I have s single stick of 4gb vengeance. Could getting another stick be the fix?

I get the bsods when doing something ram intensive, ie downloading bf3 and surfing, playing bf3

How long did you run memtest for?

What is the error code during the bsod? Look for 0x00000124 or something like that. Giving us the code can help narrow down the problem.

Ran memtest 9 passes. The error code is 000000024 and the other one is a memory_management bsod with 000000001a and i get that one after about and hr of bf3

Your BSOD means you need more memory voltage or drop your memory speed with correct timings.
