x58-ud7 and crucial m4 super slow boot

my m4 takes 1 min. + to go from the windows 7 splash screen to the home page.
my adata ssd ran fine. upgraded to the m4 and now this. achi is on other channels on ide. am i forgetting something? driving me crazy. the m4 has 9 firmware. idk please help.
p.s. and everything that runs off the hd like installing drivers ect. takes forever. like 15 min. to put in a mouse driver.

you probably need to secure erase the SSD and start over. What do you mean by other channels on IDE?

try a cmos reset. sometimes that will work wonders

Define the IDE stuff and do you have any usb devices plugged in besides your keyboard and mouse?

the ide stuff is for sata 3 controler options. all that i read that everyone puts them to ide. switching them does nothing for my issue. also no usb's plugged in other than kb and mouse.

Have the SSD on the Intel controller(sata 2). Marvell ports suck! And they don't support trim.

and yea for s & g i did a cmos clear and same. and the more i mess with it. like 2 hours + it'll start blue screening. i have 2 seperate m4's with fresh installs on them. ps took forever to install. both do the same thing. so i no its a bios thing. but cant figure out what

Do you have your sata drivers up to date?

Also read over my windows 7 optimization guide it has a lot of useful info and may help.
