Minimum FPS with SLI

Thread Starter
I'm thinking of SLI'ing my 560 ti, and I read awhile back that with SLI your minimum framerates will be very much lower vs. a single strong card like a 580. Does this still hold true, or this doesn't occur anymore because SLI has matured over the years. It'd be nice to have an SLI setup that lets me get really high frames, but if i find myself dropping below 30 and when it becomes really noticeable to me than I would rather have a single strong card where I don't get as high frames as I would with SLI, but my minimum framerates would always stay above to where I couldn't notice a drop in performance.

It depends on what game you're running. Some games do not support SLi, causing you to have terrible frame rate. Check the games you play if SLi is supported on the NvidiaSLI website http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone2_game.html
