I know everyone has different experiences with different hardware and have different preferences, but I almost couldn't be more pleased with the game. It has surpassed my expectations by quite a bit, and I'm not saying my expectations were low.

The main issue I've seen are the green flashes, but they haven't been prevalent enough to be a problem.

As for map size.. I disagree. Frankly a lot of BF2's maps seemed "larger" because the view distance was so much lower.

I wish I had a single 570 that could play it at 70fps on ultra like you do It takes 2 of them in my system to get over 50, and with one I'm usually in the mid 30s-40s.

BF3 would crash for me every 5-20 mins. I did all the steps and couldn't fix it.

EVGA recommended I upgrade my 570's bios. Worked like a charm.

No crashing since.

I wouldn't say user error, I would say software that sometimes doesn't like certain hardware.

I have mine set for Ultra and I go as high as 60 and as low as 30. The usual is 45fps.

You should be getting higher. BF3 is currently having issues with SLI/Xfire setups.

Learning from it doesn't mean making a game in a different series almost exactly like it.

Regular Battlefield series != Bad Company series.

I stay at 60 with sli and Vsync. i was just saying the person I quoted was saying they get 70 fps with one 570 on ultra. There is no way they are getting a solid 70 fps with one 570. It might peak at 70, but there is no way their that high very often. I think with sli and Vsync off i probably average in the 80s, but I get so much screen tear on any game over 60 I always Vsync.

The only problems I have had has happened in the last few days. For some reason my CPU usage jumps up in the 90s on all four cores and my cards drop down in the 40s causing my fps to go in the 40s. The only map it happens though is on caspian border 64 player. It's odd though because it just started happening. Before it ran perfect all the time, never dropping under 59 or 60.

Yeah, Frostbite 2 is kind of glitchy. I have to blast "certain" parts of some walls in order to actually blow it up.
I've always liked the Battlefield series since I first started playing BF2142 about 4-5 something years ago. Bugs and glitches are present I guess since the game only came out a short while ago although DICE did host a Beta (most apparent glitches were eliminated though). I really enjoy all the vehicles and feel like its a huge change from the monotony of the COD series (don't get me wrong, COD4 was amazing, everything afterwards was just "meh").

The Origin system is something that i'm getting used to. Believe or not, I never used Steam before. I downloaded it about a week ago when i completed my computer and during time that i used to fiddle around with it, i actually found quite a few bugs and experienced about 3 crashes with it. With Origin, i haven't experienced any crashes or bugs (not trying to say that Steam is any worse than Origin; I however prefer a non-Steam/Origin method of playing BF3).

BF1942 =/= BF2
BF2 =/=BC2
BC2 =/= BF3

What's your point?
